Dr. Santanu Das, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Das joined Pediatric First in 1996. He trained in pediatrics in India and the United States. Dr. Das completed his Medical School and Internship at JIPMER, Pondicherry, which is one of the top medical schools in India. Subsequently, he completed Post Graduate training in Pediatrics for three years in India from the same institution, after which he moved to the United States and completed his residency training at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois. At the end of his training, he was offered the Chief Resident’s position for another year, but chose fellowship training in Neonatology at SUNY Stony Brook (New York). In 1996, Dr. Das moved to Georgia and joined the current practice.

Dr. Das and his wife Sonali have a son in medical school and daughter in college. Dr. Das also participates in teaching and has been a professor for medical students at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Trinity Medical School, and The Family Medicine Residency program at Houston College.
